Drum Kit And Its Uniqueness
It gives me great pride to talk about the instrument that made me a drummer and percussionist. This instrument made me a musician and above all a music lover. Drum Kit is the instrument I am talking about because this is unique in terms of sound and complicated in terms of technique. The drum kit is considered the backbone of any musical ensemble because rhythm plays an important role in holding the tempo for all the instruments. Rhythm is the sole contributor to producing some world-class music. I was a drummer feel that this instrument requires a lot of concentration because of the continuous usage of both our hands and legs. Groove management is very important in drumming because it plays a very important role in sculpting the entire musical creation.
This is a very eye-catching instrument because we usually see a drum kit placed at the center of the stage to showcase the importance of rhythm in music and how drums play the role of keeping the ensemble together. The drum kit is made of wood and plastic is used for the skin. The basic drum kit consists of a snare drum, bass drum, first tom drum, second tom drum, and then the floor tom drum. The symbals are the shiny and dazzling plates that are made of brass that can be seen placed on stands suspended. The cymbals have a special place in the drum kit because of the marvelous effect that it produces for the audience. The unique feature of a drum kit is that we players can have any number of drums we want and then customize our kit according to our requirements. The cymbals are different in terms of customization and we can have a ton of them designed to be played for various grooves and songs. Each instrument or the drum in the kit has a different sound and while we learn the techniques we are molded towards creating new ideas that will make us automatically think of the drum we need to play to create the effect.
The music and its uniqueness is a very interesting subject that gives us an immense opportunity to learn about the importance of various genres and how these musical features create the vibe that rejuvenates our mind. This instrument is my passion since childhood and I am happy that I am formally trained and had the opportunity to express my emotions through the different tones present on the drum. It is big and sometimes difficult to carry in terms of logistics but the effect it creates resonates in everyone’s mind. This unique feature makes it excel in every musical tradition by adapting to the environment quickly. I love this instrument because I can jam my Indian tala along with the groves. Rhythm is like white paint and we can mix it with any color to create something new and different. My drumming journey has made me analyze the fact that we live in a wonderful world filled with harmony and peace. Music has contributed tremendously to develop inner peace for all of us where we enjoy our lives and cherish our memories.

The drum kit is one of the great percussion instruments that was invented and fits extremely well in all the societies and colonies of the world. All genres have showcased the importance of drums and their soothing beats. This instrument has been an inspiration to create the new rhythms cycles and all the other extraordinary complex patterns in the world of percussion. I am happy that I can explore and provide some facts that I have learned.
